Retailer Information
When Someone Knocks on Your Door .. Be A Smart Shopper
When a retailer comes to your door, the choice is yours. BCPI is NOT knocking on doors selling electricity contracts. We are not associated with any door to door salespersons for electricity.
The electricity that powers your home or business is supplied to you by BCPI. However you have options available to you for how you buy that electricity (commodity).
You can buy your electricity through the Regulated Price Plan. This is the default plan for residential and small commercial customers. If you have an interval or hourly meter, you can pay the hourly spot market price or you can choose to purchase your electricity through a licensed energy retailer.
If you decide to purchase electricity from a licensed retailer, you can either sign a contract or apply online directly. Keep in mind, this contract is a legally binding contract so be sure to understand all of the details before you sign. For more information on energy retailers, click here.
To estimate your bill or to see how your bill might look based on a contract with an energy retailer use the Bill Calculator.
Water and Wastewater
BCPI bills customers for water and wastewater usage on behalf of The County Of Brant, but it is not responsible for providing water or wastewater services. These services are owned, operated and maintained by The County of Brant.
